Marilyn Hedgpeth

A native of Charlotte, NC, Marilyn earned a BA in English from Salem College in Winston-Salem, NC, and an MDiv from Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, GA.
She recently retired as a PC(USA) Minister after preaching/teaching/leading/loving life through the church for 24 years, the last 17 of those spent in Durham, NC. She and her husband, Hedge, have three talented children (and spouses) and two grandsons whom they adore. Marilyn has played handbells since the seventh grade, and loves playing with the bell choir at Clemmons Presbyterian. During the week, she spends time volunteering at the SECU Family House as a spiritual care guide, reading, writing poetry, gardening, and walking/biking on the Muddy Creek greenway. |
