At Clemmons Presbyterian, our commitment to our neighbors locally and worldwide is core to how we live out our faith. We have joined the larger PCUSA church in the Matthew 25 initiative meaning we have pledged to live out Jesus’ charge to serve, care, and welcome the other. Jesus calls us to perform ordinary acts of compassion in daily life. In so doing, we continue Christ’s work of proclaiming release to captives and good news to the poor — the good news of God’s righteousness, justice, and peace for all.
As part of our commitment to our neighbors locally and worldwide, Clemmons Presbyterian Church gives at least 10% of its yearly budgeted funds to support the following groups: Crisis Control Ministries, SECU Family House, CareNet Counseling, Samaritan Ministries, A Storehouse for Jesus, Clemmons Food Pantry, Senior Services, El Buen Pastor, Medical Benevolence—Haiti, Massanetta Refugee Program, Children’s Hope Alliance, Community Care Center (Clinico), World Relief Triad, Hebron USA/Chiapas-Mexico Clinic, Calvary Prison Ministry, YAV, Outreach MAP, Solus Cristus, Family Services, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Theological Education Fund, John McCall-Taiwan Missionary.

CPC has an ongoing collection for canned and dry goods, as well as paper products and cleaning supplies. The collection is divided between the Clemmons Food Pantry (Forsyth County) and Storehouse for Jesus (Davie County), providing assistance to each agency on alternate months. In addition, special food drives are conducted throughout the year.
CPC is a Presbyterian partner with this Hispanic Church in Winston-Salem. El Buen Pastor is one of the fastest-growing new worshiping communities in the country. Our support includes liaison, financial, participation in church events, and an annual school supplies drive.

Every day, blood donors help patients of all ages: accident and burn victims, heart surgery and organ transplant patients, and those battling cancer. In fact, every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood. Clemmons Presbyterian Church sponsors six blood drives a year.
When most people think of volunteering for Habitat, they think of hammering nails and raising walls on a construction site. Building or remodeling a home alongside other volunteers – and even a future Habitat homeowner — is an impactful and sometimes life-changing experience. It’s also a great opportunity to learn skills that you can apply around your own home!
Construction volunteers must be 16 and older. No construction experience is necessary. Construction times are generally 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Our Gift Catalog offers symbolic gifts that are representative of the materials and services Habitat for Humanity uses and provides to build decent homes around the world.
CPC’s Youth Group meets weekly and always welcomes dinner or snack! There are other opportunities to provide meals for the youth throughout their summer programming.
CPC annually sponsors Christmas presents for children through Big Brothers/Big Sisters and the Children’s Hope Alliance. The Giving Tree uses ornaments for selection of specific item donations for the children.
Opportunities: Purchase specific wish list toys and clothes
The Hammerbird Walk/Run is an annual event to raise funds for Forsyth County’s Habitat for Humanity. The race route takes participants past numerous Habitat homes showcasing first-hand the work Habitat is doing to combat the affordable housing crisis in our community.
